There are many benefits to group therapy, especially when coupled with individual therapy. Groups provide a safe place to explore, learn, and grow along side others that are going through similar circumstances. It is an environment that most find much more rewarding than they thought possible. Group therapy allows many people to see that they are not alone and they can share the depths of their feelings to peers that actually understand from a perspective of experience.
